I flew spirit 4-6 times. On two of those flights, it was delayed because of fighting BIPOX on the airplane, ending in arrests on both occasions.
I think it had more to do with this.

I once had a spirit airlines gate girl break up with her boyfriend over the phone while boarding us. Their gate had no seats and was in a separate part of the air port from the other gates. It failed because it legit sucked even for a budget airline.
