Nah it's a midwit, bordering on dimwit, take. It's the commie version of lolbertarians crying for the return of the gold standard.
Manufacturing was outsourced to China cause most companies couldn't afford to compete with their ability make cheap goods. Simple as. I bet this same commie whines about supporting labor rights and increasing minimum wages. China doesnt even allow workers to make their own unions, they get to join the main one and most of the time they are allowed to strike against foreign companies.
