I don't really think this is possible, but my God I wish it were true. "Okay, our message totally failed the first time, so we'll do it all again but even harder and louder the second time!" And who would be a potential VP pick? I can't see Walz willing to humiliate himself a second time, but what other loser can they find to sign on to be Kamala's handbag holder?

According to the Washington Post on Monday, some Democratic party aides believe Trump – who, among other things, overcame a criminal conviction and other such charges to win – has sufficiently overturned the norms of losing White House candidates' not attempting a second bite at the proverbial apple to give Harris the opportunity of a repeat bid in 2028, this time for the full cycle.

"Since Donald Trump has rewritten the rules – the norms – I don't believe Kamala Harris or anyone should try to go with precedent, ever," said Donna Brazile, a Harris ally, Al Gore 2000 presidential campaign manager and political commentator. "There are no rule books."

And what's this "Trump started it" nonsense? Is dear Donna forgetting it was Hillary of her own party who tried twice (maybe three times, if you count when she had to scrap another attempt because of Obama deciding to run for a second term) for the presidency, after being a losing candidate the first time?

How quickly they forget!
