>It was disgusting. And a lot of people acted like Asian folks were supposed to be on board for reasons unknown. East Asian voters are shockingly simple, in my opinion. Their principal issues are education -- i.e. opportunity, meritocracy -- and safety.

>If Democrats keep fricking with their educational opportunities and acting like safety is not an issue, they're going to have a hard time stopping the bleeding.

Is this meant to be in favor or against affirmative action?

Because if it is in favor it's going to fall on deaf ears on this subreddit. It's populated by the segment who benefit from it. The three black and I who are still here will be sitting this one out.

Never expect support from white moderates when it doesn't benefit them.

A rant against moderates gets upmarseyd on /r/neoliberal. Aren't even trying to pretend at this point. :marseyxd:

  • Asian 103 to 132
  • Black 43 to 19
  • Latinx 63 to 32

I highly doubt Harvard suddenly started discriminating against Black/Latinx, so it's most likely they were giving them a boost in previous years.

god darn, like obviously affirmative action is pressing ur thumb on the scale but turns out it was more like a hammer
