Yeah, even as a capitalist at heart, min wages are good. Then the wagies working at amazon and walmart raise the prices on amazon and walmart crap, instead of living on state gibs and raising my taxes

Minimum wages are needed to prevent exploitative contracts. In a properly functioning society very few people should actually be on minimum wage though. Instead companies are basically taking it as a recommended wage, because frick wages.

yeah i dunno bb win wage in my city is much higher than the federal minimum and nearly all fast food place still pay over min wage bc the labor there is v fluid (it's easy to switch jobs from one fast food place to another)

Yeah my state is still 7.25 minimum wage but McDonalds starts at like $14 and that's in my flyover town with like 6000 people in it. There's basically no one actually only getting paid 7.25 here.

As a left wing capitalist we need to raise minimum wage and cut unemployment
Unemployment benefits hurts small and local businesses more then minimum wages does from my experience because lazy zoomers and grifter would rather have less consistent money and not work then a bit more and hold a entry level job, even if it's super easy.

It hasn't though? Most inflation in the fast food market here occurred in the years prior to this. With more deals coming out I've actually noticed that it's been cheaper than before to eat fast food than in 2022 or 23.

I visit LA a lot for work, our company had to increase our expense alottment on food because things have gotten more expensive. You're out of your gourd
