Equalization doesn't work like that.
I don't pay an additional tax for 'equalization'.
The funds are distributed between the province to maintain services.
The Provinces are responsible for services.
But certain Premiers (especially frickface Danielle Smith) want to privatize everything, they withhold the funds, blame the Feds, then use the funds to cover up any deficits.
