They're different companies. Blackstone is an investment company in New York that does alternative investments including real estate. Black rock is an asset manager, which I'm sure owns some real estate too. Black Rock is about 10 times larger overall, I don't know which owns more real estate but obviously neither owns any significant percentage of the total market.
