It's pretty r-slurred that insurance companies can retroactively cancel policies when unexpected scenarios happen. What's the point of insurance then? /r/neoliberal whining about this makes feel like a leftist.

I hate home owners insurance providers as much as the next guy but California's rate hike limits caused the exit and now they want to score free points by blaming the insurance companies instead of their r-slurred policy making
