I can't think of anything you could say that would be more damaging to US foreign policy. Every president before this has tried really hard to convince the Arabs that this isn't our plan and we won't allow it. These are the two real non-Gulf Arab states that we actually get along with and he's just told them precisely the last thing they want to hear. If they believe there's a chance of this it's likely they will cut ties with us. Russia can't help them now but maybe China will get involved if they beg hard enough
The Israeli who put him up to this knew exactly what he was doing. Intentionally poisoning relations between the US and all Arab states. I just never thought it would get this far.

No, I learned about that when I was [some nebulous age that I won't disclose] and we were about to invade Iraq, the single most important decision made in America in this century. I did some basic back of a napkin math and came up with 400,000 as the number of troops we would have to send. Rumsfeld claims we can do it with 200,000. Gen. Shinseski, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff testifies before Congress and he says we're gonna need about 400,000. He was effectively fired for that. The media didn't give a shit. Congress didn't give a shit. We invade Iraq with 200,000 guys. It's not enough to control the whole country so it falls into chaos and civil war, a war that will kill (among others) thousands of our best people. So no, I don't even have illusions about literal adults in the room after that.
The neocons might have been tards, but there was a method to their tardedness. They could articulate goals that would benefit America if they succeeded. They at least tried to keep good relations with every country even while their actions were seriously pissing them off. They were at least trying in their twisted way.
This Gaza bullshit goes way way beyond that. It's clearly designed to be the most offensive thing you could say to Egypt, Jordan, and Palestine. Gaza has nothing to do with our country, yet we're going to poison relations with our best, most important allies in the region over... wanting more children to suffer to own the libtards.
So no, I don't trust any adults in the room to restrain this, what I'm saying is more that they shouldn't need to because Trump is not going to come up with something exactly the polar opposite of US national interests on his own.

If the "palestinians" were all just diluted into the other Arab nations they come from it would remove the main cause of tension in the Middle East. Iran wouldn't have a population of martyrs within Israel's borders throw into the meat grinder and fan the flames constantly. Maybe a decade after the Palestinians are forcibly removed, relations with Israel and the rest of the region will normalize and oil will become cheaper for John six pack and there will be less Muslim refugees into western countries and lower rates of terrorism

Don't assume they're tards who can't learn how to (mostly) fix this stuff. The people running these countries know how dangerous it is to rely on always having good relations with the USA. Some try to train their own guys to replace foreign technicians and build their own maintenance depots. The same claims were made about the Iranian F-14s. They used the heck out of them in 8 years of war. They even got one into the air last year after
45 years.
Or they just buy some stuff from France too and know that the French will never cut you off no matter what kind of atrocities you commit. Egypt has got Rafales and Mirages just in case.
