This is incredible. Chuds will actually face immediate consequences for their actions. Jimmy Carter was hated by bottom of the barrel r-slurs because gas prices went up while he was president. No amount of teflon is gonna protect Trump when prices for everything suddenly go way up on his order.

Burgers don't need fertilizer or aluminum, right? Also you guys can boost your oil production by 4 million barrels per day by, uh, tomorrow right?

Oil - try to keep up. The USA has been a net exporter of crude for many years. But this probably will interfere with something about the refineries. Not all oil is the same.
Aluminum - The expensive part isn't digging up the ore. It's the electricity to process it. That's why we've got Boeing and Intel here. The dams on the Columbia River.
Fertilizer - Billions of people on this planet (probably including you) are alive because of fertilizer from America.

Oil: All the heavy crude refineries will eat shit without WCS, at least until they can rejig (probably takes at least a month or 2)
Aluminum: Because it is so linked to electricity cost, an immense portion of American aluminum supply is imported from BC and Quebec. Honestly I don't see this getting replaced, at least for several years (and then at a MUCH higher price). Also US electricity prices are 100% going up without extra supply from Canada, so lol.
Fertilizer: While the US does produce it's own phosphate, it gets an immense amount of sulphur from Alberta and potash from Saskatchewan. Especially for potash, since the other big producers are Russia and Belarus, you have nowhere to turn.
Plus daddy wants to tariff the entire globe at once apparently, so I'm gonna browse /r/wsb Monday.
