You expect that they would be at least minimally aware of that? they are either:
Aware of it, but still want it all banned because they are similar to Chris and fear the same happening to them
They are completely unaware of who Chris even is because of how much of a nu-internet social media bubble they live in
They ignore everything surrounding people like Chris and assume that they are always an innocent victim being trolled by these dang trolls!

Probably a mix of 2 & 3. I mean you have to admit it is kind of weird how thoroughly Chris has been followed and documented. But he also seems to have continously put himself out in the public forum like he craved the attention.
