When I listen to this song, I imagine two young boys who run and play in a blossoming field. As they grow up, they are separated and scenes of their lives play out. Struggle, love, loss, grief, suffering. They sober up to the uncaring world, and yet their spirit perseveres. The two boys reunite once more in the field where their friendship began.
