Show us ur rocket
It looks a lot larger than the rockets I launched when I had time for that hobby, what engine do you use on it? Or does it have a different kind of propellant?
This launch just used a commercially available solid motor that's like 70cm long. Cesaroni Pro75 L2375 to be exact
Within in my rocketry team we are also working on our own self developed engines though. This one uses paraffin and liquid nitrous oxide.
That is so fricking cool, no homo.
When will you try to replicate spacex's landing/reuseability system
I want to try to do it on a model rocket scale but the EU is turbo cucked so it's hard to find suitable motors
lmao what, can you seriously not buy... little electric motors? Are you a bong?
>electric motors
Proper small solid rocket motors. Pyrotechnics or bust
Oh I thought you meant for the little legs that get deployed when landing
If you can get an engine to launch a rocket, why can't you get one to land it
For controlled rockets it's better to have a long but slow burn rather than the short and fast burns typically found in normal amateur motors.
