Got me to read up on biohackers. i am surprised nothing truly significant has happened so far. Nobody just going around biohacking a new thumb or trying to cure themselves of some disease.

Edit:

Just realized one of the primary reasons the world is not filled with biohackers and people creating new viruses in their homes is because most humans aren't actually smart enough to do it. You would have to be in the top 0.01% of performers to be able to pull things off individually and even then you are being tracked and have to have the funds to develop things in your garage.

You don't have science fiction chaos in the world because most people aren't individually smart enough to pull it off.
