I assume this is to get around r-slurred gun laws in blue states. I like 5.7 but it's still around 4x the price of 9mm. :marseypoor:

It's all around r-slurdd because it's literal ticking the boot of gun grabbers instead of fighting them blue lives matter

I'd prefer not to give the state something to nail me on if I had to defend myself.

Leave the slave state you're in. If you need permission from the government too use a God given right you're in the wrong place blue lives matter

I live in a red state, brother. I'm just saying this gives the people in lib hellholes a better option to defend themselves.

I feel like 5.7 isn't that effective against soft targets either.

I also feel like 7.62 short loaded +P and with solid copper bullets would be as if not more effective against armor

7.62 short

Are you talking about 7.62x25mm?

yup

I don't think it would have enough case capacity to get the velocity you would need to penetrate armor.

7.62x25 is a pretty nasty round. Definitely the best armor piercing pistol cartridge that was ever a standard issue

So others don't have to google like me: 7.62 Tokarev.

5.7 is basically a meme round with the cost of .50bmg and the ballistic characteristics of .22 WMR

A 9mm version of this would still be able to fit 16 rounds so I wouldn't be surprised if it's coming at some point.

Sure, but why not that one first...?

Because "9mm clip fed handgun with less capacity than a normal glock" doesn't sell, but "KEL TEC MAKES 5.7 FOR 4 HUNNID" does

Kelgren's original pistols were stripper clip fed, and that was before any AWB. You can get a lighter and more compact system without a magazine.

and that was before any AWB

The AWB: 1994. Kel-Tec starts manufacturing: 1995.

without a magazine

They still have mags, they're just not removeable. And the minuscule difference is never, ever worth it.
