Naturally this is capitalism's fault
A few people call out the r-slurred ad
I mean 12.5k is vastly indulgent for a vacation, and a basic car isn't 65k.
Where does a basic car cost $65.000, and a vacation $12.500?
The rest is just various levels of poorcel cope and why it is society's fault they suck at life.

I miss ads like this unironically, there was so much 'soul' in advertising that rapidly declined until the early 2000s where it became fricking terrible (tbf this ad is a rare gemmy for the late 90's)
The ads in shit like Mad Men are eye candy for me compared to the modern vomit grubhub kroger dancing and "burgers?" ads that don't relate to the product at ALL and just end on a single frame of the company logo
yes I am mad about this
