you know how you spend 30% of your income on rent? And that seems a bit out of proportion with how much it costs to build a house? If you want to understand why that happens, or what you can do about it, you need to write paragraphs upon paragraphs and read books worth of text to do so. a bunch of leddit shitposts aren't gonna cut it. The YIMBYs claim they know a solution - they didn't get there by shitposting with a few sentences, but reading and debating a ton.

Maybe you would. But then, after a few days, you notice that little itch. You are not sure what it is, and you ignore it for a while.
A few more days later, or maybe a few more weeks even, this itch has grown unbearable. Now you know what it is: the desire to comment on http://rdrama.net. Maybe you found some great drama online, maybe you even experienced it in your own life, or maybe you just want to discuss the recent school shooting. Fact is that you cant think about anything else but to post on rdrama, so you create a new account, thinking you outsmarted the mods and community who diaper awarded you, and make some comments, maybe a post. You think that now that itch will be satisfied, and it is, for now. Relieved, you go to sleep.
As you wake up the next day, you check out rdrama only to recoil in horror from the screen: none of your posts or comments got any engagement. No upvotes, no downvotes, no replies, not even someone calling you a newcel. And immediately you feel it: that itch has come back, a hundred times worse than it was ever before.
Unsure if you can take this much longer, you try to strengthen your resolve and take drastic measures: you delete any rdrama apps from your phone, you remove all rdrama bookmarks you saved, you even block the domain in your router. You think if you can only power through this for a little more time it will get better.
But it wont. Every day now something dramatic seems to happen. You see it in your own life, you notice dramatic events in the news. And there is something else you start to notice: you find yourself standing in front of the diaper section in your local convenience store more and more. For some reason you even started getting ads for adult diapers on your daily internet use.
You block it all out and try not to think about it, but every day when you go shopping you notice people buying diapers. You catch yourself thinking about wether they were maybe diaper awarded too. You catch yourself thinking, 'Maybe it wouldnt be that bad'.
By now, a few more weeks have passed. Still you are hoping that this itch will stop. It has taken a toll on your real life at this point. You dont sleep well anymore, your work performance has dwindled. One day, you get up, drink the three cups of coffee you need at this point simply to barely function and go out to get the mail. Between the newspaper and some other letters, you see some kind of pink magazine. You pull it out to see what it is. Its an ad magazine. For adult diapers. And you just snap.
You go on amazon, to the adult diaper section. Delivery time up to three days. That wont do. You drive to your nearest convenience store, after your continuous visits to their diaper section you know they dont have adult diapers, but you dont care. You grab a cart, you dont even need a second to remember where you have to go, your body knows by now. You stuff your cart with baby diapers of all sizes, smells and colors. 'Just in case they award me again', you think. The cashier gives you a funny look, you arent sure if it is because of all the diapers or because of your general disheveled appearence, but you dont care.
As soon as you are home, you jump out of your clothes, grab the first packet of diapers and put one on. Its a pink diaper with some kind of stuffed animal print. It doesnt fit right, but that doesnt matter right now. You take a photo and send it to the rdrama mods. You pray that you dont have to wait fo-

'A small sacrifice to make at this point', you tell yourself. You get a marker and write it down. It takes two attempts to get it right. You send another photo. And again, an immediate reply comes in:
You are nearly hysterical. What else could you do? You beg carp to let you back in, tell him you cant bear it anymore, you would do anything if he just restores your account...
It takes a moment for your brain to process these words. But then, at once, a thought comes to your mind: 'I have already reached rock bottom anyway, it wont make a difference'. You know its true. And you know carp knows. You know that he knew this from the moment you received the diaper award. And so you get to work.
You send in the photo, not caring that everyone will be able to look at you sitting in a too small diaper covered in shit on your account page, and wait for carp to reply. It doesnt take long.
You refresh the page, and you feel as if a weight was lifted from your heart as you see that your ban timer is gone. You are still in the chat window with carp, and you are sure he is waiting for an answer. And so you write.
