It was a large stylistic move from previous models in that it made the car look like a bucktoothed r-slur by comparison.

I wanted a hatch and when I ordered basically none of the good options were available on the 3-Series due to the chip shortage, but they were on the 4. I also always liked the side profile of the GranCoupe.
