Pojom wants me to buy her a bed.
I buy her a bed.
Say "clean your room or I'm not building the bed in there. I'm not going to clean your room and build the bed too, if I can spend my free time building the bed you can spend 10 minutes cleaning.
A week passes and she does not do it. I say if you don't clean it today I'm taking your bed for myself.
She says "I don't believe you."
Currently I am in the bed I have taken from her and she is shocked by this.

So do you have two beds now? Will you alternate between them? Do you have space for a third and fourth beds in your room? Have you considered putting a couple of beds in the kitchen in case you suddenly have to take a nap?

We have one bed and one couch for him to sleep on. He did put the mattress in his room last night but he couldn't figure out how to assemble the bedframe. I assembled it in my room, as pictured, which he could not figure out how to do. If he wants it back in his room he will need to either dissasemble the bedframe or find a way to fit it through the door.
For the record, my bedroom was clean but he specifically wanted the closet organized and I don't let anyone tread on me.

The top of the mattress looks about 8 inches above the floor (i.e. 4 inches below the outlets), and quick googling seems to suggest 8 inches is at the very bottom of mattress thickness.
