I love her and don't mind her staying at my house, but can I get more than an 8 hour heads up? I'm not going to be home until until about 7pm tomorrow so I have no idea what she's going to do. I had the lockbox removed after the contractor finished the work weeks ago so she can't get into the house. Weather is also absolute garbage so I have no what she is planning but hopefully it's getting a hotel and not breaking one of my windows.

There's usually way into house without breaking or key if you think about it.

I thought about having her go into the casita because that garage has one of those passcode things that opens it until I realized I never bothered to remember the passcode. Might be able to have the contractor reach out to whoever installed it and hear back before she arrives. If not, there's also a 50/50 chance I forgot to lock it last time I went in and it at least gives her somewhere to stay.
