I am making serious efforts to correct my own mediocrity and I believe they will be successful, but I fear my past will continue to haunt me. Can a mediocre man ever become excellent? Will I be allowed to live down my past mistakes? I feel like my only mistake was not being perfect…never been arrested or in trouble, no seriously bad financial decisions….

I feel anxious sometimes.
