Best exercised to get a nice waist and butt?

After people on here told me that I had no waist and no hips, I have made the courageous decision to hit the gym for the first time in my life tomorrow morning at 10am. What exercises should I focus on to build that gyatt for my future husband to enjoy? !cuteandvalid

Just do any beginner barbell routine that includes squat and deadlifts and uses linear progression, once progress slows switch to a 5/3/1 variation (google that)

Why would somebody do a powerlifting program for hypertrophy? Lmao

??? Powerlifting is literally about building muscle r-slur, bigger muscle are stronger muscles.

Becoming stronger and building muscle are different things with some overlap. People that train to be powerlifters and people that train for hypertrophy lift very differently

They literally aren't what is this delusion you have? Find me a single large bodybuilder that isn't strong. YOU CAN'T!

A small muscle can be strong but a big muscle is always strong.

Hence the "some overlap" of my statement. If you think powerlifters and bodybuilders train the same you need to read a fricking book lmao

Or heck just watch any YouTube video on the subject

Sure OP can just frick around and power lift for a bit as a beginner (which i assume you are), but if they actually want the butt that they do they need to do hypertrophy-focused training from day one and 5/3/1 is stupidly-low volume

Powerlifting is about lifting the most weight. Hypertrophy is a lower priority than in bodybuilding.

Simply false, any effective powerlifting starts with a of period of bulking up with muscle, you can't build something from nothing after all.

It's about lifting the most weight yes, but you can't do that without a lot of muscle. More weight on the bar builds more muscle too, that's just how the body works, hypertrophy is an adaption to stress.

Strength focused training is probably ideal for a period. It's earlier enough that the investment would pay off.
