Howdy y'all! This is a blog post. Today I finally got insurance coverage on my new free Volvo and it wasn't that bad! Only $275 / 6 months. I also switched the Porsche to storage coverage for $88 a 6 months vs the $575 I pay otherwise.
Anyways, next Thursday I've arranged a ride to Detroit to pick it up and bring this pinnacle of 90s design home.
I also got back from Kentucky, where I unfortunately found out my teeth are too fricked up for the University of Kentucky student dentists to fix and I'm going to have to go through their residency program. That means it's going to cost a lot more than I'd planned and take much longer.
While I was there I had the worst steak or my life:
It was all fat and rubbery!
I also drove through a tiny tunnel!
And visited the coomer homeland!
Then I took some pics of my car!
Then after that I drove home and remembered my car can kinda drive itself so I could keep browsing rDrama.
Since I've been back I've been selling things I don't need anymore to buy car parts and have managed to raise $2800 with minimal effort. Now that I've sold all of the easy stuff, I've moved on to trying to sell things from my art collection, like this photo of a potty!
Thanks for reading! I'm horribly depressed today!

Where was that steak from? There are tons of good restaurants in Lexington, but that looks awful.

This place called Loma's or something in Winchester. I complained to the waitress and she agreed it was bad but then didn't do anything about it. I wasn't allowed to complain any further since I guess my sister has a business/political relationship with the owners and didn't want any drama.
Their “hand breaded” $12 mozzarella sticks are just frozen food service grade too.
My parents used to really like the place but this steak basically ended any chance of ever going back.

The Opera House used to have a really nice restaurant in the 90s, and I would put Robert's Cafe that was in the Brown-Proctor building across Main Street around the same time up against pretty much any restaurant anywhere. Dude was doing hyperlocal cuisine all by himself back before that was even a thing.
But yeah, if you want a good steak, Malone's, Jeff Ruby's, and Tony's are where it's at.

I had a really good pizza at the old firehouse. Will definitely check out those other places as I'll be spending more time down there. Our house is the one on Main Street with all of the over the top Halloween bullshit.

Engine House Deli also was an iconic place in my childhood, but it's gone through like 3 owners since then. Haven't actually lived in Winchester in 20 years.
I grew up literally blocks away from you all. Went to St Agatha, then to a private school in Lexington since St Agatha only went up to 5th grade.
