Clean it, and then if it's in a spot where it's feasible to do so, seal it with superglue (cyanoacrylate, ideally 2-octyl-cyanoacrylate, NOT EPOXY. It will say "contains cyanoacrylates" somewhere on the packaging). If it's too big to seal with the wound completely closed or in an unglueable position, ya need stitches.
