There have definitely been times in my life where I've hooked up and like a month later realized I probably didn't do my due diligence.
I think people who become suddenly wealthy and famous are definitely still going to be mistake prone, because doing your due diligence involves doing shit that makes you uncomfortable, and they haven't had a lifetime of distrust beat into them yet and still see everyone around them as a friend.
Like, you basically have to obviously display distrust of her. You always wrap it. You inspect the goods before you do. You dispose of it yourself after where she can't get to it. It probably doesn't feel good to do to someone you think you might have a connection with.
And this is compounded by the fact that they actually are in fact, huge targets.
