i've probably saved days of time just by listening to/watching things at a slightly faster speed

I never realized that tv shows always have people talking really slowly compared to real life until I tried eavesdropping on Koreans. Totally different from k-dramas. At best I can make out one word per sentence and it's usually something like "Hillsboro" or my name.
