Anyone listen at 0.75 or 0.5 and still find it too fast?

I never realized that tv shows always have people talking really slowly compared to real life until I tried eavesdropping on Koreans. Totally different from k-dramas. At best I can make out one word per sentence and it's usually something like "Hillsboro" or my name.

I am aggrieved that youtube only lets you go up to 2x. You are like a baby to me

i am incapable of using audiobooks .. but otherwise i won't 1.25x something unless the speaker is abnormally slow to speak and for whatever reason I need the info in the vid + there's nowhere to skip to because they just suck at talking in general

other than that nah because I'll get distracted easier

Depends. I have watched most video lectures this way because they always speak slowly and have a lot of pauses. Audio books is hit and miss. Some are already spoken fast enough that i find it hard to keep up unless i am very focused on the book.

It all balances out with how much i slow down money shot scenes when i watch porn. I really like to savor that splashdown.

sped up video/audio sounds to me like :marseyinsane:

can't stand it, I watch everything at 1x and repeatedly seek backwards when I inevitably miss something

1.5x for most podcasts and news

sometimes the app updates and speed goes back to 1x and it's brutally slow, idk how people listen to anything that slow
