Going to see the Vatican and all the museums I can! Any recommendations for restaurants or special venues? Apparently the Siege at La Rochelle is being held in the National Gallery in Rome and I really want to see it

Tips- buy your tickets in advance, not like before the entire trip but in advance, places like the Vatican cam get quite busy and some of the areas have limited numbers of people that can go a day
Never buy tickets from people walking around in front of the museums
Also, random dudes, almost always black, will approach you and start asking questions in english, usually harmless stuff like "what time is it", once you respond back in english it means you're a tourist and they'll start begging for money, what you should do is simply ignore them and walk away
As for what to visit, a lot of the classics are a must, no reason to try to go for niche obscure stuff if it's your first time
Restaurant wise I don't know Rome well enough to tell your but the Trastevere neighbourhood is very nice, it's a short walk from all the main tourism centres and has great seafood too (according to romans I know)
Also, make sure you see the prices of the food and the wine before you order, it's not very common these days that they don't tell you the price and it's secretly high, but it still happens
