Unable to load image

i just realized that the solder i've been using for the past 3 days has lead in it

i've been soldering in my room without the window open because i assumed it was lead free solder. my eyes started feeling dry and i realized that it had lead in it

The lead doesn't vaporize at the temperatures you're soldering at, just don't eat it. It's probably the flux that's bothering you. Lead solder is supposed to be drastically better btw, I've never used lead free though.

Lead is better than the cheap lead free but it's not a huge difference. People really try to optimize this sort of shit, welding is another example. I get perfectly good welds with a 110v buzz box and harbor freight rods. Sometimes it's best to not think too hard.
