Okay so due to some nasty blood pressure readings I actually HAVE to quit smoking this time. Any tips/advice?

i'm honestly kinda glad this happened because now I know it's finally time to quit

I find running is a good activity that gives you a rush, helps you increase your lung function and where you cannot improve while being an active smoker.

So go outside and run harder than you've ever run before for a long as you're able to
