I took pictures and bagged everything with its associated bolts. I also have scans of the factory service manual but the pictures are like 180px wide resolution.

Sounds like you need to bribe a buddy with beer and get a consultation. Your probably just nervous, and a buddy and beer can up that confidence to the point your willing to tackle it.

I went into this being told it's okay if it doesn't work out. Basically all I have riding on this personally is my self esteem and I hoped that by doing this for my sister, my mom would chip in and help me out with some of the parts I need to repair my Porsche lol.
