No. It's more so dating apps make it very easy to breeze through encounters but if you're looking to make a decent connection with another human being it can be very hard

useful for attention and quick s*x and entertainment but i find that best connections are made when u meet in person w/o searching. ig it depends on what you're looking for and which app u use. i find it soulless and aggravating but appreciate the attentionmaxxing opportunities and dates when i'm sad or bored or lonely or missing whoever. tldr yeah
Dating apps give the impression of availability of new people but you still have to wrestle with the differing sexual psychology of men and women. Wherever you meet women you still have to prove yourself that you're dependable and etc
There's just not a lot of interesting people on there. I tried Bumble for two weeks and tracked my habits. Applying only the loosest standard of "would I like to meet and get to know you better" I only swiped on about 10% of women. And then if you consider the fraction that are actually active, that also match with you, live near you, and that can carry a conversation—it's a waste of time.

they're a lot better than showing up at a bar or something and just creeping on someone until they hopefully decide your peepee print is behemothic enough to speak to you

It's incredibly easy to get whatever you want in life. There are some people who seem to have no success but I think for them it is a fetish to fail and be miserable.
Most of these apps give new users a boost for a few days before starting to pile on the bullshit. If you're good looking (top 20%) you won't be on a dating app for long so it never comes into play. That said, the bots and scammers are out of control.

Yes. As with most things the small subset of people with bad experiences go online and complain while the normies just use it and have fun.
