First of all, these people actually exist . They asked for a handshake at a corporate dinner on friday night and it was like meeting a dude at a gym Their voice was terrible and I had to pretend to be interested in conversation for minutes. I made it all the way through without acting like an r-slur Later in the night some chick, early 20s, got drunk and unironically started using words such as "misogyny", "trauma bonding", "white male hetero culture" and more. I thought she was jerking our chains, so I made the mistake of cracking a joke as well . It went over like a bag of bricks so I reversed course and agreed with everything she said kept ordering her drinks until she passed out and some other chick took her back.
Part of me likes to believe that none of these people on reddit and other sites actually exist in real life. That they are bots pumping out funny dialogue or are closer to animals in a zoo. I feel the same way about you people sometimes. That all came crashing down on my head last night and I am very, very, very, terrified.
