After taking a swim in a bucket of beer my pixel 3a xl won't charge unless you power it off first (Isn't USB C the future?) and I might have to buy a new one
What I'm really looking for is a phone with a removable battery and screws so I can actually take it apart and clean it should it also fall into a bucket of beer, wine, mead or whiskey
Also the cheaper the better because my phone budget is literally 40 dollars per year (which is why I upgrade every 5 or 6)

Older Moto g-POWER are about $200 and I get 2ish years out of them working with my hands renovating. They have headphones jacks and enough bells and whistles to make them usable for me.
