I've spent three days trying to clean my garage and bedroom. Any progress I make just reinforces the fact that I have too much stuff and eventually will have to sell it or throw it out when I have to move.
My phone also showed me "memories" photos from back when I borescope the cylinders on my car and now I'm back to being convinced I'm going to need a $15k rebuild in the next year and I don't have $15k to do so.
It's nice to be able to see my floor now though. Cats seem to enjoy it.

been drowning in work irl for over a year and a half and my once meticulous and pristine shop is a disaster. There are so many frickin spiders around too I need to literally nuke it with like an unhealthy amount of permethrin just to maintain the drunk courage to start shifting boxes full of scrap metal and cowtools around without getting a heart attack from the big black uglys. Used to be so clean I could spot an intruder out the corner of my eye and blast with the salt-shotgun accordingly. At this rate I'ma have to get the old tyvek suit out and go full John Goodman from Arachnophobia (1990) on that shit.
