Yeah it really saps the fun from the car. It's supposedly the same HP as my 996 but is like a four second difference to 60. That being said it's a comfortable cruiser if you look at it as a large executive/luxury coupe.
It's also the difference between being an affordable $15k toy vs $35k+ at which point there are much better options than a 928.
The styling though has really made me start wanting a 968 but a good one is around the same price as my 996 and I don't think I'd want to trade.

The wiring harness for this car barely has any insulation left. I've been coating it with liquid electrical tape as a bandaid. I'm lucky the headlights still function.

Thanks. It gets a lot more positive attention than my 996, although it's a bit of a dog to drive. Super comfortable and heavy steering (preferred), yet the throttle response is so hindered by the automatic transmission. Both Porsches have around the same power (315hp) but there's like a four second difference to 60 and it feels identical to my 200hp Volvo.

No I gotta go to a wedding in Georgia on the 14th. Got my car all shined up, also fixed the battery drain issue. Replaced all the brake pads and new fluid but still doesn't feel as tight as I'd like. I think the rear pistons are binding, they took a LOT of effort to retract.
Like, had to set up a block of wood so I could get my shoulder in it. Frig every manufacturer for just giving you those two tiny little rounded notches
