That happened to me once. Someone tried to sign up to some porn site. I'd never used the card in my life so it was 100% a criminal amongst the bank employees which is kind of interesting.

I used to work in management for a regional bank. Growing up I used to think they were like the deathstar behind the scenes but its fricking mcdonalds with money and everyone is a moron. Soooo much non-public information is available to so many people I used to see countless violations of gramm-leach-bliley it's crazy. Check kiting surprisingly is still a super regular occurrence as is mortgage fraud though the latter has become much more sophisticated. (Lunch time rowdy shit vs spearphished title attorneys)
