Would post my town's schedule, but dox-worthy.
Anyway, it's looking like every other week from now, starting tomorrow on "NOT my president's day" (lmao), we are allegedly coming together as a community to not buy anything unless it's a necessity, such as gas. I'm wondering if this is going to just be the BLM protests but with fewer thrown broken bottles in the streets?
Anyone else notice this trendy trend?

Do people really buy things every day?
I know some of my more outspoken extremely left friends have mentioned cancelling their prime subs and asking around for locally and/or "queer women" produced products, but otherwise haven't seen large community events for it.

my friends are so surprised when I tell them I don't pay for a prime membership
I do too bb, it's still free shipping as long as you're buying over $35 of shit, just leave shit in your cart until you're over the threshold and then enjoy the free shipping
people literally pay like $150/yr or whatever for this while struggling to live paycheck to paycheck, thinking it's some kind of critical necessity.

I have only used prime when it was free in college, and even then, I didn't have time for the tack-on streaming stuff. I needed books bruh

When I got prime the membership was all inclusive and they only gave a discount for college students, butt if you didnt cancel the discount would stay. They made the discount less after lile 10 yrs, butt I still only pay 119/yr with streaming.

Yeah, they eventually emailed me and basically said that i need to prove im still in school to get the discount even tho i still had my .edu email on the account. They said if i couldnt i could still maintian some discount in perpetuity so long as i didnt cancel.

Darn, I fumbled hard then
I had transferred schools to wrap-up, I probably should've bothered shuffling the service, but it would've only been a year difference...
