Are Your Cities Participating In No-Buy Days?

Would post my town's schedule, but dox-worthy.

Anyway, it's looking like every other week from now, starting tomorrow on "NOT my president's day" (lmao), we are allegedly coming together as a community to not buy anything unless it's a necessity, such as gas. I'm wondering if this is going to just be the BLM protests but with fewer thrown broken bottles in the streets?

Anyone else notice this trendy trend?

Anyway I showered about 5 minutes ago, which is how long I think the no-buy days will last for tbh

I saw it with our recent anti-duopoly boycott (frick the duopoly tho). After the excitement wore off, it became inconvenient. "Oh, I really need x which is at Woolies. It'll be okay if I go just this once." That then snowballs until the protest's momentum is nothing.
