I was just at conference with the a regional fed rep speaking
Basically we grew post pandemic. the slow down in office space CRE and tech spaces isn't enough to offset consumer spending.
As much as people b-word about boomers it's entirely likely that they are pissing their retirement away before they die which is keeping the economy rolling
