Is China in a economic crisis or just propaganda? : China

I purchase a lot of raw materials and sub assemblies from China and it's hard to gauge.

They b-word a lot about their own raw material prices increasing, as well as wages. I tell them to either suck a peepee or increase my order quantity and that's kept things in check for me.

From my limited experience, it seems they're still reeling from covid economy and their city dwellers are demanding a higher quality of life, which is in direct conflict with their entire purpose of existing, manufacturing-wise.

It seems like other SEA countries (Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Phillipines) are the new China, China is the new Japan, Japan is the new Germany and Germany is the new US (except they tack on a Russian energy charge because they're Russia's b-word lmao).

Perfect time to develop other countries that are more aligned with us.
