Look at the dismal condition of education in red states like Texas and Oklahoma, and realize it's going to get worse. I don't care too much either way about his immigration policy, but I believe he will struggle to keep his promises just as he did his last presidency. Policies like "remain in mexico" barely dented asylum claims.
The most radically good and unexpected thing only trump could do would be to raise the retirement age. Over a trillion dollars currently goes to retirement benefits and cutting this amount down is deepy unpopular with both Democrats and Republicans, since old people are the most reliable voters. Until that trillion gets shaved down, all other budgetary measures and national debt hand wringing are for show. We don't even need a drastic cut, just enough to make the program sustainable.
