What level of cope even is this?

Trump WON the popular vote, first time a republican has won in two decades.
Trump WON more votes than any republican candidate in history
Trump WON the majority in the Senate
Trump WON the majority in the House.
Twist like a pretzel all you…
"Trump WON the popular vote, first time a republican has won in two decades."
That's one way to say more Americans supported @HillaryClinton in 2016.
More weird
This makes no sense considering Trump crushed Kamala in a landslide victory.

Okay, I keep seeing this claim. They are correct, but just barely. Just by adding together the numbers from the Associated Press (as of today), we have 153,688,558 total voters. Exactly 50% of that is 76,844,279 votes; Trump received 76,823,951 votes, a difference of 20,328 votes. This includes votes for miscellaneous individuals not on the ballot. A portion of these write-ins every year are things like Jesus or Santa Claus (someone on the farms voted for Bossman Jack).
So no, he didn't win 50%, he only won 49.987%. A difference so insignificant that the Associated Press just has 50% written next to his name. Imagine smug posting about a 0.013% difference.
