If you look at the next tweet listing all the shit prescribed burns have to document, you can see that each of them individually sound like a good idea to do/check before actually burning down random shit.
However, all of them together, along with with addition of requirement of traceable paperwork trail for each line explode into a process that takes years.
What is the solution here? Is there a way government can find a balance between having to codify requirements on paper in letter of law to prevent miscommunication and just asking the BLM to apply "best effort" to consider each requirement?

The solution was to let lightning strikes burn a bigass piece of forest, and the injuns would clear underbrush sometimes. That doesn't need an approvals process.
