This reminds me of when Trump made the "shithole countries" comment. It was hilarious seeing the people who fled their shithole country for America insisting home was better. Go back then.
like in the 2020 BLM protests and the unite the right protests back in the day, I predict that any sympathy for anti-immigrant sentiment will dissipate after this. Its too easy for Fox to just put this clip up everytime someone talks about how "they just want a better life" or "Mexico is a dangerous country".
I also think we're going to see way more general anti-legal immigrant sentiment, especially surrounding the H1B visa stuff here soon, and I think this event is only throwing more fuel to the fire.
Not the first time either. In 2006, immigration protests also flared up, with protestors making their point of staying in America by waving the Speec flag all over. Many people quickly noticed the protestors' move towards treason. This led to the organizers to pressure everyone to fly the flag to make them at least sympathetic to Yanquistanis.

This is what happens when you defund NGOs to wrangle these r-slurs. They would've had a crying kid, a mexican in US Army uniform, and absolutely no flags!
