It's like people don't understand Trump. It reminds in 2016 when he was asked if women should get paid the same as men and he said sure if they do an equally good job or something and that was apparently sexist.

TDS sufferers really don't understand Trump, preferring to mock the symptoms without understanding the causes. Just because they call him a narcissist, for example, doesn't mean they have an idea of what kind of narcissist he is.
But then, a lot of them think he's pure evil rather than has anything resembling human motivations, so they don't care to think of him as motivated by anything except bigotry and spite. And they also seem to resent that they can't shame him into doing what they want, because he doesn't have a reason to care what the TDS sufferers think.
