It's funnier because it incorporates the same joke (and accidentally literally the same image because it's the first one when you google for this condition) about blue skin, but also brings in:
a dig on rightoids falling for dumb antivax trends (they do be doing that)
the history of heavy-metal chelation as a phony cure for vaccine-induced autism. (thus implying that the dude in the pic is neurodivergent)
To be fair, you have to have a really high IQ to understand my comments, the humor is very subtle.
