Colleges don't get unlimited subsidized tuition dollars for white women to blow $300k getting a useless BA and Masters only to discharge everything because of """disability""" from EDS three years later, leaving the male taxpayers who made the economically rational choice footing the bill.
how easybis the disability thing to establish? Do you have to be permanently disabled for life? Or can you lile claim disability due to depression and rhen once it gets discharged you get "cured" of dwpression and go back to the workforce debt free?
You need a doctor to write a note that your disability leaves you unable to engage in productive employment. There's no income monitoring, everything is self-reported, and at the end of three years all debt gets discharged. So there's a grift with telehealth psychiatrists willing to state based on a self-assed questionnaire that someone has depression, ADHD, extreme phobias, women pain diseases, etc. that they cannot work again. Sort of how twenty years ago there was a grift in finding doctors willing to prescribe you opiates for self-reported pain.
Yes, you lie, claim disability, and once its discharged there's nothing that can be done. Feel free to get a job and get paid for the rest of your life.
The purpose was of the legislation was to help someone who went to college, got in a car crash, and is now brain dead and obviously will never work again. In reality it's simply letting FOIDs get useless degrees, be lazy, and never face any consequences. Go search disability discharge on /r/studentloans, look into the user's post history, and proceed to get mad.
Zero basis budgeting. The burden should be placed on the people who want to keep it - why? What aspects of education policy need to be set at the federal level and cannot be devolved to states?

Accreditation can be handled by private agencies bodies. I'm not sure why "school inspectors" need to be nationalized.
