I remember getting deep into the weeds on Vice like 4 years ago and concluding they've always been a Potemkin Village operation to defraud investors, probably if they have traffic figures they consciously hire fake Chinese clickfarms or some shit. Despite some of their video content over the years being okay. I'm sure their value has actually tanked now, but it was always kind of obvious.

Like how many years did you read Reddit? How many "Vice" stories were linked to on innocuous subs like say, /r/movies or /r/news?
