Thank God I was just thinking I needed another website to smear diarrhea shit and unnecessary whitespace all over its UI to make it mobile focused then stamp it with Official™ corporate globohomo art of poorly drawn blob people

If I can't do everything with my keyboard, it's a bad UI. I miss the days when programmers had to actually be good because they couldn't assume the user had a mouse.

Don't even fricking get me started on touchscreens. Such a fricking awful technology. If you can't use it to aim your gun in Quake, it's not precise enough to be worth using.

To be fair though, I wonder why we don't have eyeball tracking running on top of medium range webcams. Precision will suck, sure, but just switching keyboard input focus to whatever window on whatever monitor I'm looking at would be so awesome!

Yeah, that's how fighter pilots control a lot of stuff so it's gotta have potential. Except they wear a helmet that tracks their head movement.

Is that your own idea for operating the standard arrow cursor on the screen?

It's an amazing idea honestly! Left eye blink could be the equivalent of a left mouse click and right eye blink could be right mouse click too. Both eyes blinking naturally can be ignored.

You could even drag a window by holding the blink (and you'd still be able to see out the remaining eye).

The boomers :marseyboomer: peaked with Ribbon UI and they're so lost marveling at its perfection they don't know where to go next. Sad!

Took me forever to get used to but I mean yea there's really not a much better way to display that many options. Thankfully monitor size has caught up so it doesn't take up half your screen so it works.

Now if we could just kill all the people who make auto-hiding/moving elements (go to any fandom wiki on mobile to see what I mean) and simplify down icons so much it's just a two toned blob
